Sam Byrne from the 'Save the Theatre' Campaign came in to talk to our Year 8 Students today. Her aim was to inform the students about the Thameside complex and the threatened closure. Over the coming weeks, the students will be writing letters to their local councilors explaining the devastating impact the closure of the complex would have on the community. The complex hosts a professional theatre, a museum and one of the borough's largest libraries, the students agreed that to lose this vital resource would have an impact on their education and artistic opportunities.
