Wellbeing and Video Games

Pupils worked with Frazer Merrick from Signals Studio to explore wellbeing and the making of video games. Pupils were encouraged to consider the Five Ways to Wellbeing and apply these to the design and creation of their own games. This was an exciting opportunity for our pupils to experiment with coding, computer skills and creativity to break down and explore well-established games and create new ones!

Fair Trade Fortnight

At the beginning of Fairtrade Fortnight pupils learnt about how they could get involved with this movement. Mr Bains presented an assembly on the impact that this is having on farmers across the globe.

At the start of LGBQT month, Mr Akande presented an assembly looking at the history and timeline of events that place empowereed pupils to understand and embrace difference.
