Welcome to Thames Park.

As we all know, moving up to Secondary school can be a daunting process for both students and their families. At Thames Park we pride ourselves in the support and care we offer throughout the transition process right into Year 7.

Our current Year 7 students play an important role during the transition period. They volunteer their time to help prepare and settle the new students into our school. In previous years this has been a great success and all students want to be part of this as they can show self-responsibility, solidarity and caring for others, just some of core values.

We run induction days towards the end of the summer term.  All our prospective Year 7 students are invited to spend time with us in our school experiencing fun and challenging lessons. This is a great opportunity for them to meet other students from their year group along with different members of staff. More information on these days will be sent home in due course.

All details on our transition programme will be sent direct to our Year 6 parents, and we will be keeping this page updated.
